SIKON' 36 workshop participant

The digital badge is awarded for participation in the SIKON 36 (Student Ideas Competition), which was held from 11-14 July 2024. The 4-day workshop for architecture and architecture-interested students took place in Antalieptė, within the premises of the Carmelite Monastery in the Valley of Innovators. The event participants used different techniques and mediums to explore the issue of individual space, where shrinking private spaces are as if pressured and diminished by the inertial transformation of buildings into property units, which often become unmanageable and difficult to modify according to the wishes and needs of the residents.  SIKON is a traditional event which has been organised since 1983 to encourage students' creativity and cooperation.  Acquired competences:
