This badge recognises that the badge earner has collaboratively designed an international training programme by analysing the target group, identifying their needs and defining clear educational objectives. The badge earner determined which competences and main topics the programme should address, selected suitable methodologies such as experiential learning, outdoor education, competence-based approaches or theatre-based methods, and transformed these decisions into a visual training programme using a flipchart or digital grid.
In completing this activity, the badge earner demonstrated an understanding of how a training programme can reach its objectives and how it should reflect the key principles of non-formal learning. The badge earner also explored ways to balance group development with the main theme of the training and integrated opportunities for participants to meaningfully engage with the core topic throughout the programme structure.
Activity content and badge issuing criteria aligned with the European Training Strategy (ETS) competence model for trainers to work internationally.
