Facilitator's Guide: Issue Badges Simulation Game

This guide provides the operational steps for running the 1 hour 30 minute "Issuer Mission: The Operational Challenge" session. This session uses universal tasks to simulate the three core badge issuance methods: QR Code, Peer Check, and Organiser Check.
I. Trainer Preparation Checklist (Pre-Session)
A successful session depends on the platform being set up beforehand.
II. Session Delivery Flow (90 Minutes Total)
This structure includes the separation of Issuers and Learners for the initial briefing.
III. Debrief Script & Focus Points
Lead the discussion using these key prompts:
- What have you learned for your own practice when issuing badges? What should you repeat and what not?
- Quality Assurance: When assessing the badges (Issuer/Organiser Check), what was the most difficult part of the evidence to verify qualitatively, and how did you ensure you were being fair?
- Follow-up: How important was a clear written policy/criterion to your fairness?
- Assessor Tone: How did you manage to keep your reply both supportive and motivational while still delivering a rigorous quality check (especially when asking for improvement)?
- Follow-up: Did anyone use recommendations like external resources or articles in their feedback? How was that received by the Learner?
